Dr Daws is a consultant psychiatrist with particular interest in medicolegal matters. She holds a double degree in Medicine and Law from Monash University and further postgraduate qualifications in medicine and psychiatry (Masters of Medicine and Masters of Forensic Mental Health). Dr Daws completed her psychiatric training in Australia, including subspecialist training in forensic psychiatry. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and holds an Advanced Certificate of Forensic Psychiatry. Dr Daws undertakes independent assessments covering a range of civil and criminal matters, and has experience giving evidence in court and tribunal settings.
